"If you haven't got any charity in your heart, you have the worst kind of heart trouble." - BOB HOPEWith a corporate culture that puts clients first, it’s no surprise that our associates have a long-standing record of putting people in the community first as well. Several times throughout the year, Foy associates generously contribute time, money and energy in order to improve our local community and those less fortunate. We are regular contributors and participants in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Avon Breast Cancer Walks; the New Leash on Life Nuts for Mutts Events, which raises funds to help train rescued mutts as therapy dogs for autistic children and adults; and Grateful Hearts, which raises funds for firefighters and their families in the community, to name just a few.
Peter C. Foy has also been intrinsically involved in helping underprivileged children in the community. Not only does he sit on the board for various youth and children’s organizations, in 2000 he started the Foy Toy Drive and in 2001 began his own foundation—The Peter C. Foy Foundation— in order to help neglected, abused or underprivileged children. Today, the Foy Toy Drive distributes more than 20,000 toys each holiday season to children in need.
